1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ambor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use or access Ambor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Ambor. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Ambor reserves the right to request age verification and to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of being under 18.

3. Use License

Ambor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Under this license, you may not:

• Modify, copy, or redistribute the app or its materials
• Use the app for commercial purposes
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any part of the app
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Scrape, crawl, automate, or create accounts through bots
• Interfere with the app’s security, infrastructure, or rate limits

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and not to impersonate another person. Ambor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the community.

5. Community Guidelines and User Conduct

Ambor is intended for respectful, consensual interactions. You agree not to use Ambor to engage in harmful, illegal, or abusive behavior, including:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
• Sexually explicit content or non-consensual sexual material
• Content involving minors or false age representation
• Fraud, scams, extortion, or deceptive behavior
• Prostitution, escorting, or solicitation of services
• Sharing private information about others without consent
• Spam, advertising, or commercial messaging

Users may block or report others at any time. Ambor may remove content or accounts at its discretion and may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.

6. User Content Ownership and Moderation

You retain ownership of content you post on Ambor. By posting content, you grant Ambor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service.

You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload. Ambor is not obligated to host or display any content and may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Safety and Interactions

Ambor does not conduct background checks or identity verification. You are solely responsible for your interactions, both online and offline. Ambor does not guarantee user behavior or outcomes and is not a party to user interactions.

You understand that Ambor does not control the actions of users and is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

Do not rely on Ambor for emergency assistance. If you feel unsafe or are in danger, contact local emergency services immediately.

8. Location Information

Ambor uses location data to help users discover others nearby. Location information may be approximate or inaccurate. You are responsible for deciding when and where to meet other users.

9. Paid Features

Ambor offers paid access as a non-recurring purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing and refunds are governed by those platforms’ policies and applicable law.

10. Account Termination and Deletion

Ambor may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms or harmful behavior. You may delete your account through app settings.

Upon deletion, your profile will be removed. Certain information may be retained for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement purposes.

11. Privacy

Your use of Ambor is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect data. By using Ambor, you consent to those practices.

12. Third-Party Services

Ambor relies on third-party services for hosting, analytics, payments, notifications, and location features. Ambor is not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

13. App Availability

Ambor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

14. Disclaimer

Ambor is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

Ambor and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ambor’s total liability to you for any claims arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Ambor, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ambor from any claims or damages arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

Ambor may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app means acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
